BE OLD – Better Work in Old Age: Supporting older workers and organizational environment in coping with age transitions and work requirements’ is an Erasmus + Strategic Partnerhsips in Adult Education project, financed by the European Commission through A.N.P.C.D.E.F.P.

The BeOLD project focuses on improving social inclusion of older workers, by using innovative training tools.
In particular, the project will deliver two innovative educational programs:
1) Vocational counseling program BETTER WORK IN OLD AGE
The program will target older workers. It will aim to set new professional motivations, to offer opportunities to adapt to age and life transitions, to improve self-esteem and develop new skills in order to stay competitive in the labor market in old age.
The partnership will create 5 workshops that will enhance older workers skills for coping with professional challenges. We will use an innovative methodology to assess the results of the educational program for the participants: the Rickter Scale Process. This methodology will offer the chance to evaluate from the older workers’ perspective the changes produced in the learning process and the impact obtained.
2) Training program for Human Resources managers//coordinators/directors of organizations
The programme will offer learners the resources to adapt the organizational environment to all generations, combating ageism, eliminating social stereotypes regarding older workers and facilitating mentoring of young workers. This educational program, constructed in an intergenerational approach, will include 2 face-to-face workshops and 2 e-learning modules, in which the participants will confront, reason, integrate and modify their perception regarding old age in work environments and will explore and identify new ways to create intergenerational and age-friendly work environments. The training programs developed in BeOLD project will thus address both parts of the work process: employers and employees, in an integrated approach of mutual learning for an inclusive labor market and increased productivity at all ages.
